Mrs.Tonya Henderson-Jackson loves teaching Kindergarten at WCE! She is a Conway native, “Go Wampus Cats!” but now resides in Little Rock, AR. She has a BSE in Elem. Education from UCA and a MSE/emphasis in Early Childhood from UALR. She has been teaching for 17 years! Prior to teaching at WCE, she taught kindergarten, first, and second grades at Jim Stone Elementary. In 2004, she was chosen as Teacher of the Year! Mrs. Jackson is happily married to Bennie L.Jackson,Jr., who serves as the proud pastor at Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Conway. They have a beautiful daughter, Bliss Lee, who is 8 mths.old! In her spare time, Mrs. Jackson enjoys serving in various church activities, reading, walking, watching movies AND treasures playtime with her daughter, Bliss Lee!!! Mrs. Jackson feels “blessed” to teach at Woodrow Cummins Elementary!

Welcome to Woodrow Cummins Elementary! I have lived in Conway for 26 years. I was born and raised in North Little Rock. I attended the the University of Central Arkansas (GO BEARS!) to obtain my BSE in Early Childhood and my MSE in Reading. I have a wonderful husband, Sam and a 13 year old daughter, Tori who is in the 8th grade at Carl Stuart. I have been teaching for 20 years!! All twenty years have been in Kindergarten!! I love teaching five and six year old children because they are so excited about learning, so happy to be at school, and soak up everything like a sponge. I feel very blessed to have a job that I love!

Hello and WELCOME to WCES!! My name is Alicia Stover and I teach Kindergarten here at WCES. I am from, and currently reside in, Center Ridge, AR. I graduated from Nemo Vista in 1997 and then obtained by BSE in Early Childhood Education from the University of Central Arkansas in 2002. I have been teaching for nine years, both in the Conway and Siloam Springs School Districts. I have taught five years of 1st grade and four years of Kindergarten. I am married to Sonny Stover who is the Chief Deputy Sherriff of Conway County. We have two children, Addyson, who is three years old, and Sonny IV, who is 10 months old.

Hello! My name is Meredith Thone and I teach kindergarten. I grew up in Russellville and graduated from Russellville High School. I am also a graduate of Arkansas Tech University with a B.S. in education. I love teaching and spending time with my family. My husbands name is Scott and we have 2 children, Tanner and Grace Ann. I feel very blessed to teach here at Woodrow Cummins.
