Sandra Mason

My name is Sandra Mason.  I am a fourth grade teacher at Woodrow Cummins.  I have one adult daughter, Teresa,  who lives in Little Rock.  I graduated from Central High School in St. Louis, Missouri then moved to Arkansas to obtain a degree in Elementary Education from UCA. I then obtained a MSE from UCA in Educational Leadership in 1986.  I have been named to Who's Who Among American Teacher, a member of Kappa Kappa Iota, Arkansas Indian Intertribal Council, Arkansas Reading Council, and Order of the Eastern Star.  I began my teaching career teaching at Florence Mattison, then at Jim Stone, and now at Cummins.  I have taught third and fourth grade for 30 years in the Conway system.  I enjoy vacations, spending time with my daughter, playing with "the girls" (dogs Lucy and Annie),  and playing in flowerbeds.

Debbie Moore

Hi!  I am Debbie Moore, a fourth grade teacher at Woodrow Cummins Elementary.  Following my high school graduation from Tupelo High School in Mississippi, I moved to Arkansas and obtained my BSE in Early Childhood Education and my MSE in Special Education from UCA.  I have been with the Conway School District for 23 years.  Prior to teaching fourth at Woodrow Cummins Elementary, I taught first and fourth grades at Florence Mattison International Elementary School and fourth grade at Jim Stone Elementary.  Stories about my grandmother, who taught in a one room school house, instilled in me a passion for teaching.  I am fortunate to see this continue with my daughter and daughter-in-law, who are both kindergarten teachers.  My husband, an employee of Conway Corporation, and I are members of Second Baptist Church.  My youngest daughter is pursuing a nursing degree in Missouri.  Spending time with my family is one of greatest joys.  My grandchildren, Gracie and Ty, keep me busy as their number one fan.  When I do have some down time, I love curling up with a good book and my dog.
Thanks for visiting WCE!
